Anyways what the fucks up. Went to the Durham park today. That little ledge that goes across the grass gap is gonna fuck some people up if they fuck up on the big hubba. Betta be locked in and comitted to where your gonna land or else look outs for them shins. The Grand Opening is November 7. Ujamma Boardhouse is right around the corner and in business. Dope little store with a mini ramp in the back. I woulda had a photo of the owner, Nick, banging out a back smith on it but my camera died right before I shot the photo. Anyways go check Ujamma out, Nick will school your ass on the health benefits of not eating meat and give you some other alternatives. Nick smiles a fuckload, so thats word, good diet = good feelings.

Moving along, Raleigh. It’s going. I’m still skating like a motherfucker if you really gave a shit. The kids over at NC State are having a game of skate October 24th in the area by the free expresion tunnel. Go out and get awesome. Speaking of which, I’m listening to this kid Madison Bullards mix of Andy Caldwell’s Hidden Cat song. So fucken ill. Madison jams out in Chapel Hill at a club, don’t know more details, but yea, hype shit.

I’m scoping out shitty video cameras so I can start filming for some bullshit.

And I’ve contemplated trying to get some new forums up, I’ve tried installing 2 new ones but they’ve both suuuucked and not worked. So yea, give it some time, I know you guys want to talk shit to each other and what not, but hopefully they can be used for some good vibes, cause well… we need more of em in the world.

I felt hungover all day today, and I haven’t touched the alcohol in years. Same thing with any type of other drug, namely marijuana or cigarettes. Never really fucked with cigarettes. Kinda hyped on that shit. My friends ditched me in middle school and always told me they were going to “chew gum”. I never knew what that shit meant, I was like, lemme get some gum. But they weren’t down. I was bummed but found joy in just going off into the woods and digging up worms and building treehouses and shit. Eventually I noticed thease cats smelled pretty shitty, smoky. One of em dropped a pack of cigs one day and they were exposed. I heard a song today called “smoking in the boys bathroom” while I ate some salsa, or attempted to down some salsa. I was having the damnest time with that shit and I love this salsa. Anyways about 5 minutes ago I just puked all that shit up and it felt great. I am proud to say my throat muscles are strong as fuck and straight cleared my stomach of any intoxicating substance and I was able to walk again. My body felt so shitty I was telling Jesus and Satan to both rock some shit on my body, and just 24 hours ago I was claiming myself an Atheist cause well, yea. Moving along. Where was I going with this shit?

Spent the past few days roaming around with a girl who destroys it on a surfboard and can slay it on a skateboard too. She’s learning some shit, she rocked a nice slam to the ground across some train tracks a few nights ago after a sparkle party we went too. What the fuck is a sparkle party? Exactly what you think. Sparkle just sounds gay, and there were a lot of gay people. There ain’t nothing wrong with them cats, they just living too. After being in San Francisco for nearly a year you learn to not be affected by it. Growing up in the bible belt
South, not too sure how them country boys be feeling about those gays. But eh, dudes were making out with each other, Brittany said she saw some chicks making out with each other (I was bummed I miss that), and a DJ was straight destroying that shit. It was a crazy dance party, but I’ve recently learned the best dance parties go down in Wilmington at a bar called Pravda. Skateboarder David Adeusi (year, I know I fucked that spelling up) and ex Endless Grind employee Jake Ray be rocking out down there. So we went from puking, to skating, to dancing.

Ever seen a girl skate in uggs and rip it up? Brittanys homie Haley does just that. She’ll be cruising down the street then in no time throw down one mean ass bert slide. Google that shit, bert slide. First trick I ever learned from Thrashers How to Skateboard Book, 1 of 2 skate books that my middle school carried. Which brings me to my next point, I hope more schools start letting kids skateboard during recess, like elementary schools. Skateparks and ledges are modern day playgrounds. If any of you kids out there want to do some rad shit in your woodshop class raise some money and get this shit going. Create a skate . See puking is letting me serve others in their quest for happiness by attempting to be surrounded by skateboarding as much as possible. At least thats my goal in life, I like it. Wait, I love it.

So what next? My friend Jed Shooter was kindly granted to use of his old VX 1000 by Steve Laclair of Skate Perception and I would like to put the word out there that that shit is getting some use. I don’t have any editing software, my final cut pro bootleg edition is asking me for a legit serial # and I can’t afford no $999 price tag. But if things work out I am going to be editing a new clip for SkateNC with the foot we’ve gotten. I’ve hard nearly 2 years to sit back and listen to a ton of music, study some editing styles, and just let visions brew in my head. And one thing I’ve concluded: keep it hype.

So in closing I think this writing thing just might catch on. Sorry, I gots no photos or videos to share with you, just some words that maybe entertained you for the day.
